Last night at st.Marys The Titans u15boys played and lost in a thrilling encounter against a proven Moycullen side by 5 points. The Titans Kenneth Pesaitis,Petrus Rautmann,Vitor and Ladmy outrebounded at both ends.Eoin Coughlan and Rory O’Neill drove at their opposition with great abandon. In the main, they beat the Moycullen press with Jake Tiernan and Joe Tinney finishing strong to the basket. Occasionally they went heading down cul-de-sacs, dribbling along the sidelines.The lads were resilute in their defence and had an overall maturity and confidence to their game that was not previously in evidence. So.. With some free throw practice, some patience in mid court transition and with Evidas and Brian Garvey on the mend these boys can look forward to being on the right side of the results at the Cork Co.Board Tournament on Jan 5th 2013.
