Great Game last night in Oughterard.The Carna girls, in only their second season in the Galway League,secured the win and the Div 2 Title on the night!Congratulations Joe Naughton and the Carna girls.

It was actually a fine ,competitive and exciting spectacle,where the teams were level on several occassions in the last,with the Titans having to claw back a 10 point deficit from the first quarter,where they had been down 16-6.The Titans played well as a team with 9 of their players ending up on the scoresheet.They struggled to box out the stronger carna girls and left 16points on the free throw line.Aisling Cahill is making a fine return to the court ,Emer Smyth is really maturing as a leader on the ball,Aoya is dropping shots from beyond the arc;Liz generating an uptempo game;Helen, Hannah and Katie are stepping up to the challenge of the adult game, and Ronagh,Catriona,Julia and Theodora Bandout are formiddable under the boards.Altogether,the Titanides are gelling well as a Team for the future.
