Despite travelling to Limerick without the height of Grainne,Lara and Rachel the Titans girls played some strong competitive Basketball against Athlone and Limerick Celtic to cocntinue with their preparati0ons for their Biarritz Tournament in June!The emergerence of Theo Bandut, Thea Keating and Viktoria Pesaitaieas a formidable backline surprised all in the Salesian hall yesterday, with the number of offensive boards they won and put backs they finished!Sarah Grealish and Emer Smyth tore enormous gaps through both defences and finished withsome great scores.Fiona steadi9ed the ship with her leadership quality and Sinead Consodine,Hannah,Helen and Katie stepped up for the outside shots.Unfortunately,not enough were dropping in favour of the Titans and its back to the shooting drawing board for the girls in advance of their next outing v Clare Cascaders.
