In a humdinger at St.Marys tonight, The Titans and Corrib played tough,physical and skillfull Basketball in a second place decider. Corrib were always contenders with all the Free Throw practice they were getting from the hardworking but Flailing home defence!However the outside shooting of Sarah Grealish,Michelle Muldoon and Betsy Shanahan finishing from close kept the Titans ahead at crucial times.But it was Denise Gonoud who stole the show and brought home the Win in the last few minutes.Denise Harranged defenders,dove on the floor,stole the ball,ran the floor,finished strong and/or took the hits and made the free throws.Great Win Girls!Go Titans.
