CAMP DIRECTOR: Joe McGuinness: Athletic Director Albertus Magnus High School.
Coach McGuinness draws from a wide variety of basketball experiences. As the Varsity Girls Coach the last 3 years year the Lady Falcons compiled a 66-9, record;Winning 3 league Championships;Section One Titles in 2007 & 2009. This past year the Lady Falcons were league champions, Section 1 Champions, Region 1 Champions and NY State Finalists. As the Falcon Boys Coach from 1992-1999 the Falcons won 2 Section 1 & 5 league championships to go along w/ a NY State Final 4 appearance in 1994. Coach McGuinness’ experience includes 10 years as a Men’s collegiate coach, 3 as a Div. III head coach, 5 years as a Div. I asst, & 2 years at Dominican College assisting AM Hall of Fame member Joe Clinton. Played- Division 1 college basketball @ West Point under current Duke &USA Olympic Coach Mike Krzyzewski; Manhattan College under NBA asst Gordon Chiesa. Coach McGuinness also played internationally as a player/coach in Cork, Ireland and played for the touring 1984 Irish National Team.
CAMP PHILOSOPHY
Our advanced skills camps are designed and staffed to give each camper the best possible basketball experience. This camp is for the serious player only. Each day is organized by the Falcons coaching staff to maximize the time spent helping each camper improve in both their individual and team skills. We promise that you will receive the best individual attention of any camp or clinic you will attend. We also promise to give you a full effort from the time you enter the gym to the end of the workout.

Waiver & Release: I hereby request that my child be admitted to the “B.I.G. Camp” @ St.Marys College and authorize the directors & Camp Personnel to act for me to their best judgement in any emergency requiring medical attention for which I will pay all costs. I attest that this Camper is physically fit to participate in camp in all activities.
