0 All Basketball Ireland events and registration for theirevents can be found on www.3x3planet.com . This is a FIBA run website where all players can sign up free of charge and collect ranking points by playing events and even playing pickup games between their friends. Anybody or club can also set up their own event using the event maker which you can download from the site. The event maker will set up everything you need to run an event including score sheets and fixtures.

 

There are limited places available in this event so please encourage players to register viawww.3x3planet.com as soon as possible to be in with a chance to win the €400 price money. Attached you will see a flyer with details of this event as well as advertising for the other summer events. These are formatted so they can go straight up on social media if you wish or of course can be forwarded to email contacts.

 

Junior events will take place throughout the summer across the countries and will be set up by individual area boards. Please contact your local area board for more details or to see if they are running an event. Once these events are scheduled they will be shared on our website and social media outlets. As you will see from the calendar the Dublin under 14 event has been confirmed and will take place in the national basketball arena on Sunday June 7th.

 

The culmination of the Junior program will be the National Championships which will take place for the Under 14 and Under 16 players on Friday July 10th at Gormanston College County Meath, this event will be for male and female players.

The under 18 national championships will take place on Friday July 17th again at Gormanston College County Meath for both male and females.

 

The main senior men’s tour and the senior women’s national championships will take place throughout the months of July and August with the Men’s tour finals having a prize of €1000 for the winners as well as entry into a European Satellite tour event that gives them a chance to qualify for the world tour finals which has a prize of €40,000 for the winners.
