The Titans played a gutsy and well Coached Maree side in the seasons opener today at the Westside.Titans played very strong on defense but struggled to finish on the offensive end with some poor shot selection and many rushed offences.Titans indeed led at various parts of the game and although they had been down by a point at the end of the first quarter and 4points at the half,the led at the end of the third by two.A watershed sending off of Riann Maher one would thought have led to the Titans using their superior height advantage inside to eek out the win,but some crucial steals and excellent outside shooting by the hitherto well policed Maree boys meant that they held on to take the victory.game ended Titans 36 Maree 46.(johnathan 9pts;Diego 15;Kenneth 4;Rory o’n ,Sean Kelly and Eoin Coughlan 2points).
