Titans U13 Boys had a Fine Win over their neighbors from Moycullen yesterday to maintain their position atop the U13 Galway Boys league.The squad seems to be improving with each game and Coach Langan has shown his ability to go deep on the bench, with all the boys getting game time and using the opportunity to full effect to develop as players.Besides the abilities of Point Guards Matthew Sweeney;Joseph Coughlan;Neil Kelly and Dean Coughlan to control the offence, they showed their ability to hit back door passes, hit jump shots and play good man to man defence.
Big men Ben Kelly, Brian Gaffney and Mark were hugely influential under the boards rebounding both ends of the floor, with Ben Kelly hitting 26 points.Andrew,Brian and Eoin Kinsella are really developing as players are putting in the effort on defence and working the team offence.The Darraghs are a force, running the lanes in the transition offence and threatening the basket with some fine mid range shooting…speaking of which..what about the 60% shooting of Kevin Toner.now don;t be forgetting the other Ace in the pack, Jude Langan, who although he had a quiet game by his own high standards, is bouncing back  at his own pace from both injury and illness, and we all know his return to match fitness will certainly challenge some others for serious Court time.Altogether a Mighty Team performance!Well done boys.
