Strong Team Basketball at both ends of the court saw The Titans bring home the victory against a Corrib side led by arguably the Best Bigman in the West of Ireland..David Kelly who had 20 points on the night.

However it was the fine Boardmanship and workmanlike attitude of the Titans Kenneth Pesaitis;Evidas;Vitar and Ladmy Sila that spearheaded a strong team performance from the Titans at both ends of the court.Rory ‘oNeill,Jake Tiernan and Rurai Grealish controlled the tempo and the midcourt transition game while Eoin Coughlan’Mark Devaney.Brian Garvey and Rory O’Neill hit some lovely outside shots and made some beautiful assists to the bigmen in the paint!

Corrib kept within 5points for most of the game but the experienced Titans brought home the seven point win 31-24.

Considering that neither club fielded a team uder this age group(u14 ) last year it is a tribute to both that they are finding new members on an ongoing basis to bolster the league for stalwarths Moycullen and Maree.
