At a very busy and vibrant Gjb meeting tonight the following snippets were of relevance to our club:                                                                                      The Cup Draws stand!                                                                                           -ALL 1ST ROUND CUP GAMES U14/U16 BOYS &GIRLS GAMES MUST BE PLAYED BY NOV 18TH;2ND RD BY DEC 2ND & FINALS DAY DEC 8TH!       -Corrib have an u13 boys team now-Kevin walsh 0879840626;                           -Corrib u16’s are not putting a team in the u16 or u17 boys leagues but are in u16 cup and the u17’s will play scrimmages;

–Coaching Course for qualifying Introductory Course hosted by Titans early jan;Level 1 Coaching Course to be sourced and paid for by Juv Bd for the Spring 2013;

-Every Club should aspire to train and qualify at least two new Table Officials each year, juv bd to source relevant course for new season;

-Regional(Galway Select Teams) Competition Day is to be held in University of Limerick on Easter Monday in Boys u14 & u17 and Girls U14,U16&u18’s.Club Coaches who are working with these ages are asked to make an expression of interest to the juvenile board if they are interested in Coaching one of these regional teams.The committment is to have a selection date prior to Christmas but maintain an extended squad of 20/25 with whom you would run a couple of half day, Squad Development sessions at say Christmas/New Year/Feb Mid Term and St.Patricks w/end.

Galway Juvenile Finals Day is proposed to be March 23rd  if NUIG is available.

Re Refereeing costs..at underage Both Teams must pay one referee each..the cost is always 20euros.
