In what is to be The Galway City Clubs latest venture to retain and Develop teenage players as part of their Long Term Athlete Development Programme(L.T.A.D.)the Titans club have entered their teenagers into the U20 National Cup Competition.The local team have drawn their neighbours from Moycullen  in the opening game to be played in front of what promises to be a capacity crowd at Renmore Community Centre next Sunday at 3pm.The Moycullen team is comprised of players who have been very successful at local and national competition, in schools,club and more recently,the national league.The Titans who would not have the same underage pedigree, do however, have a real eclectic mix of exciting local and multicultural talent who form a squad resembling a true microcosm of the City of Galway in the year 2012.With players hailing from Dughiska,Ballybane,Westside,Knocknacarra,Ballinfoyle,Claregalway,Africa,Lithunia,Latvia and Argentina, the Titans, will certainly endeavour to make the game a competitive and exciting affair.So get along to Renmore Sunday at 3pm!
